Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy explains how SafetyLinQ Ecosystem (“SafetyLinQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information through the SafetyLinQ website, iOS application, and organization-managed safety and venue-operations services. SafetyLinQ accounts are provisioned for authorized users by participating organizations; the iOS app does not offer public account registration.

Information we process

• Account and organization information: name, email address, user identifier, role, organization, assigned locations, and authentication/session information.
• Venue and operational information: configured facility names, addresses and coordinates; schedules; camera names, status, and authorized streams; and organization settings.
• Safety and device observations: detected device identifiers, signal strength, timestamps, gateway or zone, presence history, labels, notes, and expected/review status supplied by or for the organization.
• Weather information: configured facility coordinates are sent to weather, radar, or lightning providers to retrieve local conditions. The iOS app does not request or collect the device’s GPS location.
• SnackTime transactions: where enabled, order and fulfillment details for physical food or beverages. Square processes payment information; SafetyLinQ does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
• Technical and usage information: IP address, browser or device information, session cookies, request and security logs, diagnostics, and aggregated service usage.
• Communications: information submitted through support, demo, onboarding, or other contact forms.

How we use information

We process information to:

• authenticate users and enforce organization, location, and role access;
• provide device-presence monitoring, venue maps, camera access, schedules, weather awareness, reporting, and physical-goods ordering;
• operate, secure, troubleshoot, support, and improve the services;
• respond to requests and communicate about service or account matters; and
• comply with applicable law and enforce agreements.

We do not sell personal information or use SafetyLinQ app data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Service providers and disclosure

We share information only as needed with the organization responsible for the account; vendors that provide hosting, database, security, analytics, support, maps, weather, radar, lightning, camera, and payment services; a successor in a business transaction; or authorities when legally required. These services may include Apple MapKit, the U.S. National Weather Service and NOAA, Xweather/AerisWeather, Square, and Vercel. Their own terms and privacy policies govern information they process independently.

Where a service provider processes information on our behalf, we require it to use that information only to provide the applicable service and to protect it appropriately. We do not grant one customer access to another customer’s operational data.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and operational information for the period set by the customer relationship and as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security and audit records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention can vary by data type, customer configuration, and integration. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it subject to backups and legal requirements.

Authorized users may ask their organization administrator to correct account information. To request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent where applicable, contact us at info@safety-linq.com. We may verify the request and coordinate with the customer organization that controls the account.

Security and children

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted network connections and access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security. The SafetyLinQ app is an organization-managed tool for authorized personnel and is not directed to children or intended for children to create accounts independently.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our services or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate service or customer channel.
